A very good start to the game.

We played with pace and moved the ball around well with some excellent passes.

Unfortunately though as we neared half time are pace drifted off and our movement off of the ball wasn’t as good and we started to play the ball longer and with straighter passes which the Phoenix youth defence handled very well.

Second half was worse for us as our passing game went out of the window. I think we only managed to put three passes together once in the second half which meant our defence was put under more pressure and the inevitable happened and Phoenix managed to score two goals.

In the end though we managed to see out the game so well done on not giving up.
